Valentines

Wouldn’t it be easy to go out and buy a box of Valentines? Yep. Can I bring myself to do it? Nope. When you have paper all over the house, a few hundred stamps, and tons of ink… You get my point. However, I didn’t want to do anything elaborate since I was going to have to duplicate them. And I have to say that this was one of my funnest projects. 🙂

I made a card similar to a coloring page for my kids to color themselves. They had such a good time coloring them when they got home from school yesterday. The heart cards are for the girls…

…and the monkey ones are for the boys (this one turned out to be my favorite).

I used my Cuttlebug for the hearts and stars, and used whatever stamps I had on hand to make the designs. The kids colored them with crayons and it added such a personal touch.

If you are one of those people like me who can’t stand Valentine’s Day, I invite you to read the real story of how it came to be. It changed my perspective quite a bit. 🙂

I hope that you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
