Menu Plan Monday – August 5th, 2013

And just like that it’s August & my boys are headed off to school. They attend a charter school that starts in August. However, they have more breaks throughout the year. The kids seem to like that schedule. 9 weeks of school, 2 weeks off, 9 weeks of school, 3 weeks off, 9 weeks of school, 3 weeks off, 10 weeks of school, 7 weeks of summer & repeat. Just enough time to have some fun, do some traveling, get bored a couple of times & not completely lose everything they learned in school. 😉

Shall we move on to the menu?


I have no idea yet what I’m doing for breakfasts, lunches, or snacks, but this is what’s planned for dinners…

Monday (Mom cooks) – Popcorn chicken (made with GF flour), corn, & green beans

Tuesday (Dad cooks) – Chili Lime Cod, with steamed broccoli, & basmati rice

Wednesday (Son cooks) – Spaghetti & Meatballs with GF noodles & Peas

Thursday (Dad cooks) – Red beans & Rice

Friday (Daughter cooks) – Tuna Melts on GF bread, & fruit (Love this recipe for Mom & Dad.)

Saturday (Mom cooks) – Honey Mustard Pork loin, Green Beans, & Sweet Potatoes

Sunday – Leftovers

Mom & Dad will actually be doing a cleanse this week. We are both going to be taking Reliv shakes all day along with some Whey Protein shakes & additional fats like peanut better & coconut oil.
I will be taking my Reliv chocolate shake with added ProVantage in the morning.
My 2nd shake will be My Reliv Now shake without orange juice. I’ll also be adding about 4 oz of frozen fruit.
My snack will be celery with peanut butter. And my last shake will be a Whey Protein shake with coconut milk, 2 oz. of banana, & 2 oz. pineapple.

In between shakes I will probably be drinking a tea concoction with green tea & Reliv GlucAffect in it. I’ll also have water with lemon juice & stevia.
We’ll let you know how we did & how we’re feeling next week!
