Young Living Essential Oils

Where do I even start? I’ve heard about essential oils over the years, but didn’t think much of them. Bought a Lip Balm set one year and haven’t been happy with anything else after trying those. (My favorite is Grapefruit!)

Fast forward to this winter, 2014-2015. My youngest son keeps getting sick. He even drinks his nutrient packed Reliv shake almost every day. I didn’t want to keep giving him cough medicine. I wanted to help him get better! Enter, Young Living Essential Oils. I had talked to a friend of mine months ago about the oils. I was curious and kept hearing really good things about them. Sooooo, I decided to just go ahead and become a Wholesale Member by ordering one of the Premium Starter Kits. (What a great deal they are. $150 for over $280 worth of products!) Plus, it’s hard for me to pass up a discount on quality products. 😉 The best part is that I don’t have to sell anything to keep my discount. All I have to do is simply order $50 worth of product in the next YEAR to keep my membership. SOLD!

This is the kit that I got.

My friend recommended putting a salve on my little guy’s feet of 1 tsp coconut oil and 1-2 drops of essential oils. (Her recommended oil was Thieves.) Thankfully that comes in the Kit. 😀

They have so many products with Thieves EO in them!

They even have a whole Booklet about Thieves.

ANY ways, back to my son. I made the salve and started putting it on his feet, once that afternoon and once before bed. He had been coughing so hard that day that he actually vomited. 😦 The next morning, hardly anything! His brother caught the cold shortly after and I started the same routine. He turned around nearly overnight. Needless to say, I’m a believer and will be using Essentials Oils for the rest of my life!

If you’re curious, as I once was, please let me know. I’m still new at this, but we can look for answers together. 😉

Thanks for taking the time to read my story. 🙂
